Q2 2024 Android Performance of Top Dragon Games in the US

Dragon-themed mobile games have been soaring on the Android platform, and Sensor Tower's Q2 2024 data sheds light on how the top contenders performed in the US market. Here's a glimpse into the dragon realm of mobile gaming.

Dragon City: Mobile Adventure by Social Point saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at nearly $2M in late May before dipping to around $1M by late June. Downloads significantly dropped from 4.1K in the first week of April to just over 200 by the end of June. Weekly active users started strong at 22.6K but saw a downward trend, ending at around 12K.

Dragonscapes Adventure from Century Games PTE. LTD. experienced a revenue journey from $6.4K at the start of April to around $4K by June's end. Downloads spiked to 424 in late May, while weekly active users showcased a decline from 2.2K to just under 2K in the same period.

Newcomer Dragon POW! by BOLTRAY GAMES, released in early April 2024, had an interesting start with its revenue climbing to $621 before settling at $370 towards the end of June. Downloads peaked at 348 in early June, and weekly active users grew from 87 to 543, showing promising engagement.

FARLIGHT's Call of Dragons showed a revenue peak of nearly $3K in the final week of June, while downloads saw a gradual decline from 150 to 91 over the quarter. The game maintained a steady base of weekly active users, starting at 1.1K and slightly increasing to 1.1K.

Lastly, Zynga's Merge Dragons! generated the highest revenue among the group, reaching $7.8K in early June before dipping to $6K at quarter's end. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 140 per week, and weekly active users hovered between 4K and 4.5K throughout the quarter.
